This plan would modify and expand the existing LOX Farm, Helium and Nitrogen Systems, High-Power Electrical, and Command and Control Systems
A new launch mount would be built at an elevation of 30 meters to "reduce excess recirculation and erosion from rocket exhaust"
This new launch mount would use a flame diverter rather than a flame trench, similar to what is constructed at SLC-40
There could eventually be a landing pad inside the fence at 39A to reduce recovery time and effort
A new Methane farm would be constructed to hold 2 million kg of Liquid Methane (1.5 million kg of Liquid Nitrogen would also be stored at the Methane farm to cool the Methane)
New Methane flare stack would be constructed
Flare stack would be 30 meters tall
There are no current plans to modify the Liquid Oxygen farm but more tanks and piping may be needed to support Starship/Super Heavy
SpaceX plans to "eventually launch Starship/Super Heavy around 24 times a year"
Super Heavy and Starship will conduct static fires before launch
Super Heavy will fire all 31* Raptor engines for 15 seconds
*This could be out of date. current design may have up to 34 Raptors
Super Heavy and Starship will be vertically integrated on the launch mount
It will first use a temporary/mobile crane to stack the rocket and then they will later build a permanent crane that will be between 120-180 meters tall
Starship and Super Heavy boosters will be transported to KSC using the KSC Turn Basin Wharf once constructed
Starship will be transported from LZ-1 using a similar mobile transporter that Falcon boosters do
Once Super Heavy lands, it will be transported to the KSC Turn Basin Wharf and then transported on the crawlerway back to 39A
